Salted Caramel Beehive Cake
recipe
200 gram granulated sugar
200 ml warm water
75 gram all purpose flour
25 gram cornstarch
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
3 large eggs, lightly beat
50 gram butter, room tempratur
75 ml sweetened condensed milk
2 tsp vanilla extract
Caramel sauce.
place sugar medium sauce pan and heat on medium until sugar melted and the color becomes light amber.
reduce heat to low and continue cooking until bubbles. Quickly take the pot off from heat then pour the warm water into the pan and let sit for 5 minutes, stirring until the caramel dissolves. let it cool.
For Cake
Preheat the oven to 350F.
Grease and flour a loaf pan. set aside
In a medium mixing bowl sift together flour, cornstarch, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
Slowly pour in the egg and cooled caramel into the flour mix.
Mix until well combined and add vanilla continue mixing.and add sweetened condensed milk. mixing until well combined and add butter and vanilla.
Pour the batter into the loaf pan. Bake for 30 minutes or until a tester comes out clean.
Cool the cake in the pan, then cut into serving slices and serve at room temprature.
